Between 2011 and 2019, Anigraph Productions was proud to collaborate with City of Richmond staff to animate the Festival venue utilizing buildings, docks and open spaces of the Britannia site which provides unique opportunities to create mesmerizing experiences for all ages.

The Anigraph team was led by renowned Festival Director, D.F. Hopkins, who drew together talent from around the Province and visualized and created magical venues.

On-stage and wandering, musicians and performers and story tellers and dancers from First Nations and other cultures delighted audiences; attendees engaged in a wide range of hands-on activities such as the joint creation of a large mandala. The dock area was always popular especially when the skippers and crews of the vintage vessels tied up alongside welcomed visitors on-board. Food trucks were invited to provide diverse, delicious treats.

A special favourite for kids (of all ages) is Riki the Wharf Rat, one of the puppet characters created by the Anigraph team.
